Arnold Pander and Jon Vankin expose the conspiracy behind Tasty
Bullet and the mysterious ‘Tasty Girl’  to the world this summer!

At the core of this adrenaline induced story of personal redemption and revenge is Tamar, the beautiful, ass-kicking spokes model for Tasty Bullet, a wildly-popular “energy drink” guzzled by kids around the globe for “healthy energy” – as the Japanese ad-slogans say.  A mysterious adrenaline addiction compels her to take extreme physical risks. Her whole life is an episode of Fear Factor.

Bullet Corp., which made Tamar a superstar, continues to cover-up the secret of the unique Tasty Bullet “formula” and its link to Tamar’s childhood.  Unbeknownst to her, Tamar was the perfect test result they were never able replicate, despite years of experimentation.  Bullet Corp, must hide the fact that the Tasty Bullet is disastrously defective. They insulate Tamar from the horrible truth of an impending pandemic caused by the drink and its extreme side effects. Only the Tasty Girl can reach the dark corners of Bullet Corp. to find out what’s really going on behind the bubbles. Tamar’s own desire to uncover her past sets her on a journey of self-discovery toward a crime that can no longer be hidden. Tamar leaves a trail of bullets across the globe in her desperate search for the truth as she faces a fearsome Teen Death Squad, The “Spiritual Terrorist” Ali Hallaj, and Tamar’s greatest enemy of all – her own addiction to Tasty Bullet!

TASTY BULLET is the brainchild of two of the genre’s popular creators: Arnold Pander and Jonathan Vankin.
Co-authored by Vankin and Pander and illustrated by Arnold Pander.

Jonathan Vankin is the award-winning writer and journalist of such cult classics as The Greatest Conspiracies of All Time, with nearly 100,000 sales to date.  He also penned the critically – acclaimed DC/Vertigo series “Pop Tokyo” (named to Face magazine’s “10 Hottest Comics” list) and its follow-up “Bangkok”, as well as scripted five of DC’s popular Big Books – among other publishing milestones.

Arnold Pander, in collaboration with his brother, Jacob, is the renowned illustrator of the Eisner-nominated “Grendel – Devil’s Legacy”, the outrageous “Exquisite Corpse”, “Accelerate”, and co- creator of “Triple-X International”, “Secret Broadcast”, and “Batman: City of Light”, for such publishers as Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, Oni Press, and Image Comics.
